Even those familiar with the Bible know that the Apostle Paul, after his case was heard before Festus and Festus failed to render a ruling on the charges against him, exercised his right to appeal to Caesar, as recorded in Acts of the Apostles 25:12. Throughout history, the right of appeal has existed and continues to play a vital role in the pursuit of justice. However, is this right absolute and unconditional? The answer is no.
